Art Workshop Bookings - where are they located & who attends?

Workshops are held in my tranquil air conditioned studio in Queens Park, easy access from Orrong Road/Roe/Albany Highways.

Public transport is only a short distance from the studio and I’m more than happy to pick you up and return you to Cannington train station at the end of the workshop.

You don’t have to fit a perfect mould in order to attend my beginner’s painting workshop, but if you’re curious who typically attends and why they book, here’s a glimpse:
  1. People looking to discover and express their creativity.
  2. Couples celebrating anniversaries and ‘date days’.
  3. Families wanting to spend quality time together.
  4. Budding or established artists looking to learn a new painting method and spark their inspiration.
  5. Group bookings are welcome for occasions such as team building events, hens’ parties, childrens’ birthday parties, date days, “Memory Making ” events for families age 7 – 99 years.

Level 1 - Intro

In the intro to Paint Pouring level 1 workshop you will learn three totally different methods of painting without brushes.

All materials included: 3 canvases, paints, brushes, tools and morning tea.

Step by step guidance with loads of tips. Groups sizes limited to just 5 people so each person receives personalised assistance.

Level 2 - Textures (Mixed Media)

Level 2 Textures will take your paint pouring to the next level.

In this workshop you will learn how to use a combination of materials on 3 separate canvases using a myriad of things such as shells, string, fabric, paper, sand etc. We also discover how to use mediums to cause various reactions with the paint to add a whole new dimension to our paintings. Once you have the know-how a whole new world of possibilities opens up. 

All materials included: 3 canvases, paints, brushes, mediums, stencils, tools and morning tea. 

Level 1 & 2 - Full Day

Full day intro to paint pouring includes levels 1 and 2 in the one day workshop.  Come and discover the joy of this wonderful technique. No previous drawing or painting skills are required.

All materials included: 5 canvases, paints, brushes, mediums, stencils, morning tea plus a bonus resource pack.

Mobile Workshop

For groups of 5 or more here at Perth Artist Workshop we have the capacity to bring the art class to you, country regions included.

All materials are supplied. Ranging from plastic cover sheets, canvases, extensive range of paints, tools and more.

Art Workshops for Kids

A wonderful creative technique for children to embrace. It’s virtually impossible to make a mistake therefore excellent for building self confidence.

2 hours duration and includes 2 canvases plus all other materials. A delightful activity and adults are welcome to  join in for a family activity. Early booking is advised to secure your child’s place and as group size is limited to 5 children only. 

Mini Workshop

This two hour workshop is open for ages of 7 years plus and for all capabilities. Maximum group size capped at 5 participants and adults are welcome to join in for a “Memory Making” event. 

This is an inspiring workshop and wonderful for building self-esteem as it’s impossible to make a mistake. All materials are supplied so you simply come along wearing your painting clothes and prepared to be amazed.

All Paint Pouring Workshops includes: 

  1. All necessary equipment including quality canvases and materials. No preparation required, you simply need to show up!
  2. An inspirational 2, 3 or 6 hour painting experience guided by award winning artist Jackie Peach. Learn the paint pouring method and so much more!
  3. Canvases of various sizes which you will paint your creations on and yours to keep or gift.
  4. Morning Tea and the company of friendly and welcoming like-minded people also beginning a new adventure.
  5. A small and intimate class size (max 5 people per workshop) to ensure you gain the most from your Paint Pouring session.
